A spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico and barrier islands from the 13th fairway is one highlight of St. Andrews Golf Club. Built in 1968, the golf course winds through the St. Andrews Subdivision, providing no parallel fairways and a feeling that each hole is your very own.
The semi-private course, which was designed by James Thompson and opened in 1968, boasts two holes directly on the gulf. The golf course offers an abundance of wildlife to admire while playing on the signature "lighthouse" hole. Herons, egrets and even alligators make playing this course an interesting experience.
The 18-hole golf course measures 6,533 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 69.7, with a slope rating of 119.
